 Process Flow EWM-QM Integration

EWM and QM configuration settings have been explained in the previous posts. This document will explain the End to End process of EWM-QM Integration.

Create Inbound Delivery with transaction VL31N

Once the Inbound Delivery flows to EWM, it should be packed in Handling Units either automatically or manually (Prerequisite for POSC)

Create Unloading task either automatically or manually as shown below.

Once the Unloading task is confirmed, Goods Receipt is done. On Goods receipt, Inspection lot gets automatically created.

Move the Handling Unit to the quality work center.

In RF Inbound Processes >>Putaway>>Putaway by HU putaway HU to Quality work center.

Once the HU moves to Quality work center, Inspection lot needs to be worked upon.

Inspection Lot can be checked in transaction QA32

The Inspection lot should be in Released status.

Select the inspection lot and do results recording by clicking on Results button

Once the results have been recorder, click on Valuate button and Close button to close all the characteristics. Click Save.

After the results have been recorder, click on Usage Decision to give the usage decision.

Once the Usage Decision has been saved then the putaway task gets created. Now HU can be moved to the destination bin.

Go to the following path In RF

Inbound Processes >>Putaway>>Putaway by HU putaway HU to Destination Bin.

Once the Putaway is task is confirmed, then the HU Moves to the Destination bin.

Note : Make sure that HU is at the quality work center before completing the results recording and Usage Decision. Usage decision can also be given by the transaction /SCWM/QINSP_S4 - Quality Workload Overview
