How to do Table Counts for multiple Tables at one go?

 Introduction

We know 76% of the world transaction runs in SAP so the chances of getting a new Project implementing SAP is very slim. In any project that has been using SAP for sometime and you being a newbie this trick really helps you understand what is in their system and what Functionality/Module you can Implement by just knowing the different counts of Entries in SAP Table

Solution

Login to SAP and go to Transaction Code ST13

Now Select Table Analysis and Execute

 

Now select the 2nd option and here we will check for Table ekpo and ekko

Execute. Wala we got the result

 

Now lets be adventurous and check how much Purchasing they use. Now we will use Wild Card EK*

 

Wala we know what they really use it for

 

Now we will try to see whether they use Archivelink Solution for Attachment. We will search with TOA*

Wala it shows they have some entries but nothing is stored in the Archivelink table TOA0* tables

 

Conclusion

This Blog can be used for both SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA
